Christmas Decorations 2017

Beth and I enjoyed ourselves for a couple of days setting up a village on a shelf at eye level and adding lights across the bench-level shelf.  This is in our large back living room.  There is probably less than 100 watts in all the decorations put together including the tree.  We’ve had most of the village since we lived in Millinocket but we had only set up part of it here one time, maybe 15 years ago.  (One original box has a price sticker from Ames.)  The pieces are tacky but that’s part of their charm.  Oh, the little creche with the blue cloud behind it is a piece Beth bought in Aruba a long time ago.  The larger nativity set is from Israel, made of olive wood.  And I have to say I’m grateful for ISO 12800.  I hope you enjoy these photos.  They will be posted here until Epiphany or thereabout.
